Promoting a Cost-Effective, Reliable and Competitive Transportation System

STC, soybean checkoff featured in NCHRP production

The National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) has produced a series, “The Role and Value of Transportation in America’s Economy,” that profiles the logistics system that serves the U.S. soybean industry. Phil Bradshaw, a soybean farmer from Griggsville, Illinois, and former chairman of the United Soybean Board, and Mike Steenhoek, executive director of the Soy Transportation Coalition, are featured in the production.

The NCHRP produced the series for state departments of transportation throughout the U.S. The video can be accessed here.

The Soy Transportation Coalition is comprised of thirteen state soybean boards, the American Soybean Association, and the United Soybean Board. The National Grain and Feed Association and the National Oilseed Processors Association serve as ex-officio members of the organization.
